Mr. Anthony Lewand the Vice President of Business Development for Space Energy Terrestrial has over twenty-five years of experience in Business, Marketing and Development. Mr. Lewand brings extensive experience to Space Energy’s Terrestrial Division with a background working internationally from a firm he founded which developed business programs for development companies in Russia, Europe and the Africa’s. In addition, Mr. Lewand has many years in Real Estate and extensive commercial development experience in the United States.
Mr. Lewand is also proficient in five languages, his exceptional communication skills make him highly adept at developing partnerships and relationships on the international level. Mr. Lewand manages Space Energy Terrestrial Division’s focus on ground based Alternative Energy. He is responsible to meet the demands of innovation and execution of new business formation, logistics and co-ordination necessary to make Space Energy Terrestrial the worlds leading commercial enterprise in the field of Alternative Energy.
Richard Kerns
Vice President of Strategic Planning
Mr. Richard Kerns is the Vice President of Strategic Planning for Space Energy Terrestrial. Mr. Kerns has over thirty years of experience in Strategic Planning in the Real Estate development and construction arenas. Mr. Kerns has been involved in the planning of numerous projects and has extensive knowledge in the development of commercial and utility scale power production facilities. He is also responsible for the coordination of all regulatory, political and entitlement activities for the Space Energy Terrestrial Division.
With his vast experience in project planning Mr. Kerns brings a high value skill set to Space Energy Terrestrial Division’s focus on ground based Alternative Energy. He is responsible for strategic planning, logistics and co-ordination necessary to make Space Energy Terrestrial a major development company in the Renewable Energy Industry. He is dedicated to the development and deployment of Solar Energy Parks and Facilities throughout the United States and Internationally.
John DiNatale
Vice President of Logistics Technology
Mr. John DiNatale, Vice President of Logistics & Technology for Space Energy Terrestrial is also an engineer and founder of Karina Aerospace. He is one of the most highly regarded practical engineers in his field. He brings a level of unparalleled technical competence to our effort, and it is his inexhaustible tenacity that helped him complete five college degrees (three in the engineering field) after he had completed six years in the United States Marines. He served in the Persian Gulf War, becoming a highly decorated Marine, including being a four-time recipient of the “Conspicuous Service Star” for combat actions. Mr. DiNatale graduated on the Commandant’s List (top five percent) for academic/practical proficiency and earned the prestigious “Marine of Quarter Award” for January, February and March of 1988.
During his tenure in New York City while studying, John was the first and only student to ever receive a research grant towards Space Based Power Research. He designed and constructed a functional prototype, utilizing on an optical space based solar energy system, which became the center attraction for several key academic/technological events. His background in Space and Solar Technology brings Space Energy Terrestrial to a higher base of knowledge and expertise. His logistical and technical knowledge is a major asset to the company.
Dr. Feng Hsu
Sr. Vice President, Systems Engineering & Risk Management
Dr. Feng Hsu, the Senior Vice President of Technology, Systems Engineering & Risk Management. Dr. Hsu is a world renowned expert and former research fellow of Brookhaven National Laboratory in the fields of risk assessment, risk-based decision making, safety & reliability and mission assurances for nuclear power, space launch, energy infrastructure and other high integrity social and engineering systems.
Dr. Hsu was until recently head of the NASA GSFC risk management function, and was the GSFC lead on the NASA-MIT joint project for risk-informed decision-making support on key NASA programs, as GPM, LSS and the CxP etc. He was also a leading engineer/scientist in the Shuttle and Exploration Analysis Department at JSC in Houston, and led key projects such as the Shuttle PRA modeling & integration; SLEP and Shuttle upgrade trade studies. Dr. Hsu served on many agency and center expert panels supporting challenging SMA issues, including his key roles in the STS-107 (Space Shuttle Columbia) investigation team, the Return to Flight team, and ECO expert team for the Discovery mission.
Dr. Hsu has over 90 publications and is co-author of two books and co-chair of several technical committees. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker on many international forums, and is increasingly dedicated to frontier research ranging from human space exploration; solar energy to global collective intelligence and risk based policy-making on emerging environmental and energy security issues. Dr. Hsu holds a bachelors degree in Applied Math, masters degree in Operations Research and Statistics and a doctoral degree in Engineering Science.
As senior advisory of Aerospace Technology Working Group (ATWG) and a co-founder of Space Development Steering Committee, Dr. Hsu has been a strong advocate for SBSP for years and was instrumental in instigating the 2007 NSSO study on space solar energy and has contributed whole-heartedly to the great human endeavor of harnessing solar energy for sustainable human development.
Jason Chitwood
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Jason Chitwood is the Chief Financial Officer of all Space Energy Companies. Mr. Chitwood is a recognized Business Management Expert. Mr. Chitwood began his career in India working with the Rural Development Agency on developing programs to overcome poverty at the village level. He later went on to serve as Business Manager for the Asia-Pacific Region for several International Groups and Companies focusing on Real Estate and Tourism. After 15 years in the Asia-Pacific Region, Mr. Chitwood returned to the United States as a Business Authority in the area of finance, reporting, and structural organization.
Mr. Chitwood manages all Operations and Finance focusing on budgets, forecasting, financial controls and compliance. He also oversees Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Administration and Accounting departments of all Space Energy Units including Space Energy Terrestrial. His knowledge and expertise is a great benefit to the entire Space Energy Group of Companies.
Fadi Khoury

Mr. Khoury is a Board Member of Space Energy and is also the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Media Publishing & Distribution Group, and Chief Operational Officer of Ismail Khaja & Sons, a group of 52 companies with an annual revenues of over 1.8 Billion AED. He is also a Board Member of Al Ghurair Solaris Middle East LLC (a 1 Billion AED Dubai Transport Company) and Principal, Board Member & Middle East Liaison Officer of Huxley Management Company LLP.
Mr. Khoury has a BS in Business Administration/Marketing, a BA in French, and an AA in Management Information Systems. He has served as Director of Sales & Business Development for Coca Cola in Jordan.
During his years with Trans Jordan Communications Services Inc. (TJCS), he participated in major financial transactions and established important contacts in several countries including Yemen, Bangladesh, Morocco, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Oman, Egypt, Palestine and Iraq. He has also participated in several multi-million tenders in the Middle East and Gulf Region, including a Telecom transaction in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Khoury has been affiliated with numerous renowned organizations and societies such as the International Who's Who of Professionals (nominated "Man of the Year 2008"). He holds a Diplomatic affiliation with the United Nations Registry, a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, as well a member of the Jordan Entrepreneur Association.

Mr. Brent Barker, is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications. Mr. Barker brings 25 years of experience in marketing and strategic business planning to Space Energy Terrestrial. He is a respected speaker and has appeared in financial forums worldwide. Mr. Barker has cultivated a deep knowledge of international marketing coupled with successful relationship-building. A strong political background is something else that makes his contributions to Space Energy invaluable.
Formally as Senior Vice President of Emerging Markets of North America, a company which specializes in the acquisition, development and marketing of large condominium-conversion properties, he was responsible for over $500 million in investments. His position included developing relationships with banks, capital groups, developers and investors. In addition, he has developed marketing organizations in China, Japan, Canada and Europe.
