Space Energy will be a power generator, and will sell its energy to those who transmit and distribute electricity to the end user. The company has been in discussions with a wide variety of potential customers around the world including:

Federal governments for non-defense-related electricity usage
Defense-related applications designed to mitigate the costs of petroleum
National security applications designed to reduce global geopolitical instability
State and regional governments
Private energy companies
Private corporations that have their own captive power generation

Depending on their global region, each of these market segments has distinct growth trends and economic characteristics.

Initially, the company plans to focus on market segments in developing nations, such as India and China. In parallel, the company will explore potential customers in developed countries.

In some locations, the company itself will transmit and distribute power to end users. Because the plan is to locate the receiving antennas in close proximity to end users, very little infrastructure will be required.
