Stephan Tennsel
Chairman & CEO
Mr. Stephan Tennsel is the Chief Executive Officer, Principal and Co-Founder of Space Energy with his business partner, Mr. Peter Sage. Mr. Tennsel is responsible for the overall operations and business development activities of this rapidly evolving and expanding company, including the oversight and operations of Space Energy AG, Space Energy Inc, Space Energy Terrestrial Inc and all other Space Energy units. Additionally, Mr. Tennsel is responsible for all investments, finance, operations and compliance matters. He is actively involved in building relationships with Governments, Energy officials and other Space Based Companies throughout the World.
Prior to launching a career in business, Mr. Tennsel served in the Swedish Military. Time spent in the Special Forces gave him a foundation that has served him well throughout his entrepreneurial career. Mr. Tennsel is fluent in seven languages, including Swedish, Norwegian, English, Danish, German, French and Spanish. His exceptional communication skills and in-depth understanding of varying business practices cross-culturally makes him highly adept at developing strategic partnerships with the United States Government and several other Major International Governments.
Renewable Energy is Mr. Tennsel’s passion and he has long recognized the need for renewable energy technologies and the related business opportunities represented within. After years of research and development and surrounding himself and the organization with some of the best minds and experienced people from around the globe, he and Mr. Sage established Space Energy and the subsequent Space Energy Group. Space Energy AG is now the leading private Space Based Solar Power Company and Space Energy Terrestrial, Inc is rapidly becoming one of the world’s leading terrestrial based solar power companies with Mr. Tennsel’s leadership and foresight.

Principal, Director of Global Marketing & Communications
Mr. Peter Sage Principal, Director of Global Marketing & Communications and Co-founder of Space Energy is best known for his entrepreneurial achievements. He has been responsible for launching and operating numerous successful companies. One of the many companies founded by Mr. Sage is a world renowned health franchise which quickly became one of the fastest-growing chains in the UK and has won numerous industry awards.
Mr. Sage is a long-standing active member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, having established six qualifying companies to date. He has also been featured in numerous entrepreneurial publications worldwide, and last year was nominated for the prestigious "Extraordinary Lives Award" by the globally recognized Social Entrepreneurs Organization, "XL,' of which he is a life member. Mr. Sage also serves on the Board of Advisors for INSEAD (Paris), one of the world’s top business schools in the field of entrepreneurship.
Some of his charitable contributions include organizing charity events for cancer charities, engaged in the promotion of disabled people for use in the performing arts and mentored students in values and integration and life coaching.
Mr. Sage is a high performance individual who specializes in all areas of personal development. He is also a certified and qualified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Along with Mr. Tennsel his passion and drive has put the Space Energy group of companies on the forefront of Space Based Solar Power and is helping establish Space Energy Terrestrial as a leading ground based Solar Company.

Muzaffar Khan
Principal, Board Member
Mr. Khan has an extensive background working in hedge funds and leading investment banks and was a strategist for Moore Capital, one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the world. After five successful years as an emerging market strategist, (during which time his three person team grew assets under management to $1 billion and provided positive returns every year to investors), he retired to become vice chairman of ACOPS which is an international environmental charity. At the same time he was a consultant to the Man Environmental Capital Opportunities division of Man Group Plc, a $75 billion asset management firm.
In 2007 Mr. Khan successfully completed a second Master’s degree at the London School of Economics in development studies (economics). His dissertation title was “Dealing with Market Failure: How carbon credits are influencing the investment behavior of capital markets and investment funds”. He is now recognized as one of the world’s leading and most influential experts in the monetization of carbon credits.
This year Mr. Khan has also co-authored a book called “Racing towards Excellence” with his mentee Jan Sramek, a Goldman Sachs emerging markets trader. The foreword for the book is written by Sir Howard Davies, ex-head of the UK’s Financial Services Authority and current board member of Morgan Stanley UK.

Sr. Vice President, Systems Engineering & Risk Management

Dr. Feng Hsu the Executive Vice President of Technology, Systems Engineering & Risk Management. Dr. Hsu is a world renowned expert and former research fellow of Brookhaven National Laboratory in the fields of risk assessment, risk-based decision making, safety & reliability and mission assurances for nuclear power, space launch, energy infrastructure and other high integrity social and engineering systems.
Dr. Hsu was until recently head of the NASA GSFC risk management function, and was the GSFC lead on the NASA-MIT joint project for risk-informed decision-making support on key NASA programs, as GPM, LSS and the CxP etc. He was also a leading engineer/scientist in the Shuttle and Exploration Analysis Department at JSC in Houston, and led key projects such as the Shuttle PRA modeling & integration; SLEP and Shuttle upgrade trade studies. Dr. Hsu served on many agency and center expert panels supporting challenging SMA issues, including his key roles in the STS-107 (Space Shuttle Columbia) investigation team, the Return to Flight team, and ECO expert team for the Discovery mission.
Dr. Hsu has over 90 publications and is co-author of two books and co-chair of several technical committees. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker on many international forums, and is increasingly dedicated to frontier research ranging from human space exploration; solar energy to global collective intelligence and risk based policy-making on emerging environmental and energy security issues. Dr. Hsu holds a bachelors degree in Applied Math, masters degree in Operations Research and Statistics and a doctoral degree in Engineering Science.
As senior advisory of Aerospace Technology Working Group (ATWG) and a co-founder of Space Development Steering Committee, Dr. Hsu has been a strong advocate for SBSP for years and was instrumental in instigating the 2007 NSSO study on space solar energy and has contributed whole-heartedly to the great human endeavor of harnessing solar energy for sustainable human development.
Fadi Khoury
Board Member, Sr. Vice President
Mr. Khoury is a Board Member of Space Energy and is also the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Media Publishing & Distribution Group, and Chief Operational Officer of Ismail Khaja & Sons, a group of 52 companies with an annual revenues of over 1.8 Billion AED. He is also a Board Member of Al Ghurair Solaris Middle East LLC (a 1 Billion AED Dubai Transport Company) and Principal, Board Member & Middle East Liaison Officer of Huxley Management Company LLP.
Mr. Khoury has a BS in Business Administration/Marketing, a BA in French, and an AA in Management Information Systems. He has served as Director of Sales & Business Development for Coca Cola in Jordan.
During his years with Trans Jordan Communications Services Inc. (TJCS), he participated in major financial transactions and established important contacts in several countries including Yemen, Bangladesh, Morocco, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Oman, Egypt, Palestine and Iraq. He has also participated in several multi-million tenders in the Middle East and Gulf Region, including a Telecom transaction in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Khoury has been affiliated with numerous renowned organizations and societies such as the International Who's Who of Professionals (nominated "Man of the Year 2008"). He holds a Diplomatic affiliation with the United Nations Registry, a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, as well a member of the Jordan Entrepreneur Association.
Mr. Khoury sits on several Company Boards including his current group and recently, he was invited as an honorary BOD member in a 1Billion transportation company with the renowned Al Ghurair Family. Mr. Khoury is considered one of the most prominent business authorities in the region, consulting and being directly involved with a wide network of substantial net worth families, leaders and executives in both the private and public sectors.

Jason Chitwood
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Jason Chitwood is the Chief Financial Officer of all Space Energy Companies. Mr. Chitwood is a recognized Business Management Expert. Mr. Chitwood began his career in India working with the Rural Development Agency on developing programs to overcome poverty at the village level. He later went on to serve as Business Manager for the Asia-Pacific Region for several International Groups and Companies focusing on Real Estate and Tourism. After 15 years in the Asia-Pacific Region, Mr. Chitwood returned to the United States as a Business Authority in the area of finance, reporting, and structural organization.
Mr. Chitwood manages all Operations and Finance focusing on budgets, forecasting, financial controls and compliance. He also oversees Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Administration and Accounting departments of all Space Energy Units including Space Energy Terrestrial. His knowledge and expertise is a great benefit to the entire Space Energy Group of Companies.

Zhao Heng
Senior Consultant, SE Beijing
 Zhao Heng has an extensive career in the IT industry. Before joining the Space Energy team, he was most recently the marketing director of the Beijing Stone Group whose total sales revenue reached 3 billion Yuan under his direction. Zhao previously worked as marketing manager for Dutch Tulip Computer Asia Ltd.where he was in charge of market development in China, and also worked for seven years in a high-tech industry incubator associated with the Chinese Academy of Science's Institute of Computing Technology.
Among his other experience, Zhao has been an application mentor for Beijing Fund for Innovative SME, an investment organization designed to nurture small and innovative businesses. He is also a partner in the Dachen Silver Thunder High Tech (Beijing) Investment Company, a fund established by the Beijing government for small and mid-sized businesses.
