Stephan Tennsel
Chairman & CEO
Stephan Tennsel, Principal, is the Founder and CEO of Space Energy.
Stephan has thirty years experience in entrepreneurship, real estate and property development around the world.
After real estate development Stephan spent years researching game changing technologies in renewable energy and developing relationships with some of the most knowledgeable professionals in the Space Industry worldwide.
He is fluent in seven languages (Swedish, Norwegian, English, Danish, German, French and Spanish), has exceptional communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of cross-cultural business practices. This makes him highly adept at developing strategic partnerships with the Unites States Government, International Governments and other diverse stakeholders needed to make Space Energy a success.
Prior to launching his career in business, Stephan served in the Swedish Military Special Forces, which created a unique foundation and served him well throughout his career.

Peter Sage
Principal, Director of Global Marketing Communications
Peter Sage, Principal, is a Founder of Space Energy and its Director of Global Marketing and Communications.
Peter is a serial entrepreneur, having launched, operated and brought to success multiple companies,six of which were large enough to qualify for the Entrepreneur Organisation membership. He brings to Space Energy twenty years of experience in growing fast-paced enterprises, typically by identifying and creating value propositions to leverage relationships and access required resources.As a frequent public speaker on business topics he is well placed to effectively communicate the vision and developments of Space Energy to the rest of the world.
Peter is an expert in personal development and a qualified trainer for Robbins Reserach International. He has travelled internationally to mentor and train people from diverse backgrounds (from super achievers and successful businessmen to the homeless, drug addicts and abuse cases) and brings those skills and concepts to the creation and development of the rest of the Space Energy team.
He has been featured in various entrepreneurial publications, and was recently nominated for the prestigious "Extraordinary Lives Award" by the largest social entrepreneurs organisation - XL Nation. Peter is a philanthropist and an active supporter of multiple charitable causes and serves on the Board of Advisors for INSEAD - a global top five business school and one of the leaders in the field of entrepreneurship education.

Dr. Feng Hsu
Sr. Vice President, Systems Engineering & Risk Management
Dr. Feng Hsu, the Senior Vice President of Technology, Systems Engineering & Risk Management. Dr. Hsu is a world renowned expert and former research fellow of Brookhaven National Laboratory in the fields of risk assessment, risk-based decision making, safety & reliability and mission assurances for nuclear power, space launch, energy infrastructure and other high integrity social and engineering systems.
Dr. Hsu was until recently head of the NASA GSFC risk management function, and was the GSFC lead on the NASA-MIT joint project for risk-informed decision-making support on key NASA programs, as GPM, LSS and the CxP etc. He was also a leading engineer/scientist in the Shuttle and Exploration Analysis Department at JSC in Houston, and led key projects such as the Shuttle PRA modeling & integration; SLEP and Shuttle upgrade trade studies. Dr. Hsu served on many agency and center expert panels supporting challenging SMA issues, including his key roles in the STS-107 (Space Shuttle Columbia) investigation team, the Return to Flight team, and ECO expert team for the Discovery mission.
Dr. Hsu has over 90 publications and is co-author of two books and co-chair of several technical committees. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker on many international forums, and is increasingly dedicated to frontier research ranging from human space exploration; solar energy to global collective intelligence and risk based policy-making on emerging environmental and energy security issues. Dr. Hsu holds a bachelors degree in Applied Math, masters degree in Operations Research and Statistics and a doctoral degree in Engineering Science.
As senior advisory of Aerospace Technology Working Group (ATWG) and a co-founder of Space Development Steering Committee, Dr. Hsu has been a strong advocate for SBSP for years and was instrumental in instigating the 2007 NSSO study on space solar energy and has contributed whole-heartedly to the great human endeavor of harnessing solar energy for sustainable human development.

Jason Chitwood
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Jason Chitwood is the Chief Financial Officer of all Space Energy Companies. Mr. Chitwood is a recognized Business Management Expert. Mr. Chitwood began his career in India working with the Rural Development Agency on developing programs to overcome poverty at the village level. He later went on to serve as Business Manager for the Asia-Pacific Region for several International Groups and Companies focusing on Real Estate and Tourism. After 15 years in the Asia-Pacific Region, Mr. Chitwood returned to the United States as a Business Authority in the area of finance, reporting, and structural organization.
Mr. Chitwood manages all Operations and Finance focusing on budgets, forecasting, financial controls and compliance. He also oversees Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Administration and Accounting departments of all Space Energy Units including Space Energy Terrestrial. His knowledge and expertise is a great benefit to the entire Space Energy Group of Companies.

Anya Navidski
VP of Corporate Development
Anya Navidski is a Vice President for Corporate Development at Space Energy.
She has over ten years of experience in situational assessment and development of entrepreneurial solutions from strategic planning to tactical execution. She assists the Principals in helping transition Space Energy through various phases of development and takes care of Space Energy Investor Relations and some aspects of Corporate Finance.
Before joining Space Energy Anya was a founder and CEO of Jumpstart-up - an organisation that empowers social entrepreneurs to create scalable, financially viable enterprises. Prior to that she was a Director of the Maag Centre for Entrepreneurship at INSEAD – a top-four business school - where she developed and put in place the new vision and strategy for entrepreneurship.
Her more corporate experience comes from Project Finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, M&A at Goldman Sachs and Venture Capital at Barchester Group. As an economist with NERA Economic Consulting – a leading firm of economists – she managed international projects assisting utility regulators and infrastructure companies with operations under varying regulatory frameworks and drafted policy recommendations to facilitate entrepreneurship, investment and economic growth for organisations such as the World Bank.
Anya is recognised by www.TheNextWomen.com as a Catalyst Hero of 2009.
She regularly teaches at MBA and executive MBA programmes on Enterprise Development and Business Planning at institutions such as INSEAD and Berlin School of Creative Leadership. She is a co-author of various papers, reports and books on market regulation and holds a BSc from Warwick University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Humberto de Armas
VP of Corporate Finance
Mr. Humberto de Armas’ career achievements have included seven figure revenue growth, design and management of various revenue-generating campaigns, and development of marketing and advertising campaigns for corporate and governmental agencies.
With 13 years of experience in fundraising for the non-Profit sector, Mr. de Armas was Director of Development for one of Florida’s largest children’s mental health providers. For this agency, he was responsible for orchestrating grant, capital and endowment campaigns that ultimately brought the agency’s overall operating budget from 7M to 18M. During this period, he became a nationally certified grant writer and took numerous courses in his field to further refine his skills in the fundraising arena.
In 2007, Mr. de Armas launched his own company, FiNe Group LLC, formed to support start-up companies in the financing of the renewable sustainable industry, targeting firms on the cusp of efficiency or renewable production breakthroughs. Ultimately, FiNe Group led Mr. de Armas to Space Energy where, in 2010, he joined the team to head financing for both the Space Energy and Space Energy Terrestrial business ventures. In this capacity he is responsible for identifying and managing all relationships with financial institutions across the board in order to attract the needed funds to launch development of both terrestrial solar parks and space based solar power satellites.

Zhao Heng
Senior Consultant, SE Beijing
Zhao Heng has an extensive career in the IT industry. Before joining the Space Energy team, he was most recently the marketing director of the Beijing Stone Group whose total sales revenue reached 3 billion Yuan under his direction. Zhao previously worked as marketing manager for Dutch Tulip Computer Asia Ltd. where he was in charge of market development in China, and also worked for seven years in a high-tech industry incubator associated with the Chinese Academy of Science's Institute of Computing Technology.
Among his other experience, Zhao has been an application mentor for Beijing Fund for Innovative SME, an investment organization designed to nurture small and innovative businesses. He is also a partner in the Dachen Silver Thunder High Tech (Beijing) Investment Company, a fund established by the Beijing government for small and mid-sized businesses.
